Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide usage information. This policy explains which cookies Revoly uses and why.
Our approach: minimal cookies
We use the absolute minimum cookies necessary to operate Revoly. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking.
Cookies we use
| Cookie name / type | Purpose | Category | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session / authentication cookies | Keep you logged in and maintain your session securely. Without these, you would need to log in on every page load. | Strictly necessary | Session / up to 30 days | Clerk (authentication provider) |
| CSRF token | Protect against cross-site request forgery attacks. This is a security measure. | Strictly necessary | Session | Revoly |
| User preferences | Remember your interface preferences (e.g., sidebar state, display settings). | Strictly necessary | 1 year | Revoly |
What we do NOT use
- No advertising cookies — we do not run ads and never set advertising or targeting cookies
- No analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any third-party analytics service that sets cookies
- No social media cookies — we do not embed Facebook, Twitter, or other social media widgets that set tracking cookies
- No cross-site tracking — we do not track you across other websites
- No third-party trackers — no Facebook Pixel, no retargeting scripts, no data brokers
Consent
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies (required for the Service to function), we do not need to ask for your consent under the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended). If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (such as analytics), we will implement a cookie consent mechanism and ask for your explicit consent before setting those cookies.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, if you block strictly necessary cookies, the Service may not function properly (e.g., you may not be able to stay logged in).

Changes to this policy
If we change our cookie practices (for example, by introducing analytics cookies), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we notify you of changes.
